For the first time, with the design of DAHL 36, Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter ventured outside the world of architecture and furniture, to tackle the challenges of naval design. The project was initiated due to the office’s relocation to Norr Mälarstrand in Stockholm and its proximity to Riddarfjärdens Marina. A hull of set dimensions, 11 meters long and 3.2 meters wide, designed by Ted Mannerfelt provided the parameters for the boat and the project itself. The brief was for Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter to consult on the exterior expression and fully develop the interior concept.
